Dear Flop, Many thanks for taking the time to write your good comments here. Yes, sometimes it is difficult for the parent to participate in the role playing with the child. Parents are often too close to the child/teen/adult and to the ADHD issues. In addition, there is always the “unconditional love” factor with parents, too. If your son’s therapist achieves great results, that is a good thing. You might want to share your role-playing experiences mentioned here with the therapist. It could help your son even more. Thanks again for giving us your input here! Joan Brennan http://www.FocusandRead.com
